Public Classes

Boating Skills and Seamanship

BS&S provides basic information for beginner and experienced boaters about power boating, including PWC operations.  Learn which boat is right for you, equipment for your boat, trailering, handling on the water, highway signs, the rules you must follow, piloting, lines and knots, weather, marine radio procedures and more.  The course qualifies as a Safe Boating course in the State of Florida.

 

The next Boating Safety and Seamanship, BSS, class is planned for 2009.  Contact Lee Waters, 697-9435, if you are interested.

America's Boating Course

The ABC course includes a variety of information covering general information on boats and maintenance, information to make boating safer and more comfortable, tips on boating courtesy, and boating laws and regulations.

 

The next ABS course will be presented on 08, 10, & 11 Sept. at Lemon Bay Park.  The classes will meet from 18:30 - 21:30 (6:30-9:30 PM) the first day.  The cost for the course is $25 per person.  Contact Lee Waters, 697-9435, if you are interested.
